Anniversary gifts are a great way to show your spouse or partner that you care about them and their life. They can also be a wonderful way for the two of you to connect and share memories together. But what if there isn’t much money in the budget for an anniversary gift? Don’t worry! We’ve got some great ideas for unique anniversary gifts that won’t break the bank or your spouse’s heart.
Photo Book
A photo book is a great way to preserve memories, and it can be made with photos from social media. A couple of years ago, I made an entire wedding album for one of my closest friends. The pictures were so incredible that we ended up spending most of our time looking at them rather than talking about the event itself!
A photo book is also a great gift because it’s something you can show off on your coffee table or in the living room if you don’t want people to see all their personal belongings (or think about how many things they own).
Treasure Hunt Day – Unique Anniversary Gifts
One of the best ways to celebrate an anniversary is with a treasure hunt. You can do this by including clues and maps, or you can make it more complex by having the two of you solve riddles together. Either way, it’s a fun activity that will keep everyone engaged while they try to figure out where they’re supposed to go next.
Here’s how it works:
- Include some sort of map with your gift (either printed or drawn). This will allow them to follow along as they travel through different parts of their relationship over time and maybe even give them some ideas for places where they could take future trips together!
- If there are any objects from that period in time that were significant enough for them both personally (like jewelry), bring those back with you on your trip instead; otherwise consider making something new instead like art work created during their relationship which would represent each other better than anything else might have been able usefully convey what goes into making up such things between two people who care deeply about each other.”
Love & Inspiration Jar
Handmade anniversary gifts are rewarding to give and receive, and they don’t have to break your budget. This simple, heartwarming and unique gift idea is based on words of inspiration from you to your significant other. On small cards or pieces of decorative paper, write a series of love notes, motivational quotes, compliments, or favorite memories, and place them in a large glass jar, which you can decorate as desired. You can also mix in a few photos of the two of you, and add personal captions. Aim for 30 notes if you want your partner to open one each day of the month, or create 52 so there will be one new note per week for a whole year!
Picnic Date
Picnics are one of the most traditional types of anniversary gifts. You can make a picnic basket with your favorite foods and take it to the park, beach, or woods for an amazing date night!
You could even do something more adventurous like going on a hike through the forest or zoo. Or if you’re feeling more creative than that, try making cookies together at home and taking them out into nature instead. It’ll be fun!
Couple’s Journal
Couple’s Journal
If you want to provide a space where each person can write their thoughts and feelings, this is the gift. It offers an opportunity for each person to reflect on what they love about their partner, as well as to get things off of their chest. The journal itself could be used as an anniversary gift or something that can be given back and forth over time if desired.
Give them space to: Write down some of your favorite memories together; Write down what you appreciate about them (beyond just “I love him/her!”); Provide a place where they can come back later on in life when things are less happy than usual
Monthly Date Cards
If you’re looking for a way to keep the romance alive and well in your relationship, then monthly date cards are the perfect solution. There are so many different ways to do them, but the idea is that each month you write down an item or activity that represents how happy you are with your partner. For example, maybe you’ll write down “I got up early” or “We took a trip without kids.” Whatever it is, this will help remind both of you of what makes your relationship special!
Memory Collage
- A memory collage is a great way to celebrate your anniversary. It’s simple and fun, and you can use any of the following ideas to get started:
- Make a photo book using old family photos, favorite vacation pictures or even pictures from your honeymoon. You could also make a scrapbook out of all the letters that came in during the last year or two!
- Display your collage at home as art on an empty wall (or hang it on an easel). If you’re feeling extra creative, consider framing some of these pieces as decorative accents around your home.
Words of Affirmation Framed Print
An anniversary gift could be a framed print of the phrase “I love you” in different languages. If you want to make it more personal, write your own message in each language and then translate them into English.
Alternatively, if you’re looking for something more romantic, there are plenty of options for expressing your feelings through words:
- Write a short note on how much your partner means to you and why! This can be as simple as saying “I love that” or “You make me smile.” You could even write something like: “I am grateful for everything we have been through together.”
- Write down some things that remind both of you about when this relationship started off, maybe it was when they said “yes” at the altar or when they gave birth after waiting months for each other? Maybe those moments were so important because now they’re not around anymore (which would make all those precious memories seem even more special)!
We hope these ideas help you to find the perfect anniversary gift for your loved ones. As always, we would love to hear your feedback! If there is something else that you think we should know about, please leave a message in the comments below.
